As an Account Executive at Samsara, you'll drive IoT sales to mid-market customers, managing trials and negotiations with executives and decision-makers across various industries.

The Account Executive role involves selling IoT solutions to mid-sized customers, managing trials, negotiations, and building client relationships while traveling 25% of the time.

Manage strategic relationships with large Samsara customers to drive adoption, create success plans, run executive business reviews and workshops, recommend operational workflows, and coordinate cross-functional teams to remove barriers and deliver business value from the IoT platform.

Support employees across the lifecycle by executing people actions in Workday and Zendesk, manage HR compliance filings (EEO-1, CA PDR, AAPs), create employee-facing knowledge using internal AI tools, participate in UAT and audits, perform mass/complex Workday data changes via EIBs, drive cross-functional process improvements, and champion Samsara’s cultural principles.

Support public-sector pre-sales by demonstrating Samsara IoT solutions, running demos and proofs-of-concept, guiding hardware installation, writing API scripts, and translating technical requirements into business value to drive integrations, upsell, and deployment success.

Lead and operationalize responses to subpoenas and eDiscovery demands, manage the end-to-end eDiscovery lifecycle, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders. Develop policies and improve processes for protecting customer data, monitor legal/regulatory developments, and drive litigation operations and legal tech improvements.

Build and ship internal data and AI products to help Product and Engineering teams. Analyze structured and unstructured data, create repeatable workflows, dashboards, and decision-ready recommendations. Own projects end-to-end from scoping and data connection to launch, adoption measurement, and iteration. Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and embed Samsara cultural principles.

Lead the technical direction for AI-powered, real-time in-vehicle experiences. Define product and architecture, build backend orchestration for edge clients, ensure reliability, safety, and observability, ship zero-to-one features, mentor firmware engineers, and integrate AI-assisted development tools.

Design and build full-stack, AI-powered features and shared platform patterns for the Samsara web dashboard. Scale and maintain the Web Experience infrastructure, lead cross-team technical projects, raise engineering standards via reviews and mentorship, and partner with product and design to deliver reliable, usable AI-driven workflows.

Lead the In-Vehicle Experience team, developing an AI-powered platform for in-cab cameras, focusing on user experience, product strategy, and collaboration with engineering teams.
