Own end-to-end SEC external financial reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1), manage reporting calendar and earnings release process, drive disclosure quality and XBRL review, improve and automate reporting processes, prepare/review reconciliations and accounting schedules, ensure U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance, research technical accounting issues, and partner cross-functionally with Legal, FP&A, and Investor Relations.

Lead and execute technology audits across cloud (AWS, GCP), AI/ML, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity. Design and test IT general, application, and entity-level controls for SOX, manage audit lifecycle from planning to remediation, and use data analytics, automation, and generative AI to improve audit quality.

Lead GitLab's corporate and compliance legal function: set strategy, advise C-suite and Board on governance, securities, equity compensation and M&A; own SEC reporting; build and manage a global corporate legal team; implement AI-enabled legal workflows; manage outside counsel and cross-functional legal initiatives.
