We are looking for an experienced Dental Practice Administrator to manage the business and administrative operations of a busy multi-provider dental practice. This role ensures the practice runs efficiently, profitably, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements, while delivering an outstanding patient experience from first contact through post-visit follow-up.

The ideal candidate combines strong healthcare administration skills with a patient-first mindset and the leadership ability to develop and motivate a front office team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all front office operations including patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, billing, and collections

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly production reporting, tracking metrics against practice revenue goals

• Lead, train, and supervise front office staff including receptionists, treatment coordinators, and billing specialists

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and state dental board regulations, including coordinating staff training and documentation

• Liaise with dental insurance carriers to resolve claim disputes, coordinate fee schedule negotiations, and optimize reimbursement rates

• Manage vendor relationships for office supplies, lab services, and dental equipment maintenance contracts

• Partner with the lead dentist and clinical team on patient flow optimization, scheduling efficiency, and case acceptance strategies

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field

• 4+ years of dental or medical office management experience

• Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or equivalent)

• Strong understanding of dental insurance billing, CDT coding, and collections processes

• Excellent leadership, communication, and patient relations skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Dental Practice Management certification (AADOM MAADOM or equivalent)

• Experience managing a DSO-affiliated or multi-location dental practice

• Knowledge of dental treatment plan coordination and case acceptance techniques
