We are hiring a Hazmat & Specialized Cleanup Technician to perform the safe remediation of biohazardous, chemical, and trauma scenes in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role demands strict adherence to safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and compassionate professionalism when working in sensitive situations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and fully committed to protecting both public health and the environment through thorough, regulation-compliant cleanup procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform biohazard remediation, trauma scene cleanup, hoarding abatement, and chemical spill response at assigned job sites

• Don and maintain appropriate PPE including Level A/B/C suits, respirators, and disposable coveralls for each task

• Identify, segregate, package, and transport hazardous waste in compliance with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations

• Decontaminate tools, equipment, and vehicles following each job according to established protocols

• Complete all required job site documentation including chain of custody forms, waste manifests, and incident reports

• Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, and property managers throughout the remediation process

• Participate in ongoing safety training, certification renewals, and emergency response drills

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire)

• Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record

• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and operate in full PPE for extended periods

• 1+ year of experience in hazmat cleanup, environmental remediation, or a closely related field

Preferred Qualifications

• IICRC WRT or AMRT certification

• Experience with mold remediation or asbestos abatement

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
